The practitioners behind Planet Wellness Connect
This is not an app built by a software company. It was built by Petrina Ten and Ronald Delary-Simpson, a married couple who have spent their working lives helping people get well naturally, so that the guidance you are given in a consultation keeps working in the weeks and months that follow.
Both trained in advanced iridology under Dr Bernard Jensen, the practitioner who did more than anyone to establish the discipline, and both are qualified nutritionists. Ronald began practising iridology in his mid thirties. He turns 80 this year and is still seeing clients. Petrina has worked alongside him since 2013.
Between them they have guided clients from Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Caribbean, Africa and across Europe. Their consultations are unhurried by design: the first one alone takes at least two hours, because understanding somebody properly takes time.
Ronald Delary-Simpson
Australian
He carries out the iridology photography and analysis and the kinesiology testing, having studied advanced kinesiology with chiropractors in Australia. He learned organic growing from the Australian horticulturist Peter Bennett among others, and much of what the practice recommends is grown in their own garden.
Petrina Ten
Malaysian
She records the key discussions of every consultation by voice and video, writes the reports, and looks after each client afterwards, which is the part clients mention most often in their reviews. She is trained in the same assessment work and carries out consultations in Ronald’s absence, and she has demonstrated healthy cooking on live television for over two years.
Neither of them treats their training as finished. Both keep their nutrition and skincare knowledge current through USANA Health Sciences, where they are active Brand Partners, and through regular online and live courses and their own reading. They have shared their work on television, radio and podcasts, and have spoken on stage to audiences around the world, having trained as professional speakers under Jessen James. Both are qualified Saladmaster cookware presenters and chefs.
